1969 Dodge Super Bee A12

PRESENTING THE 1969 DODGE SUPER BEE A12, A TRUE CLASSIC THAT HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY RESTORED DOWN TO THE SMALLEST DETAILS. ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET INCLUDED!

The Car This 1969 Dodge Super Bee A12 is a gem, fully restored to its original glory. Every detail has been carefully attended to, making this car one of the best examples you’ll find today. It’s not just any restoration – it’s a full concourse-level restoration, ensuring top-tier quality and authenticity. Renowned Mopar specialist Roger Gibson detailed this beauty, adding that extra touch of perfection.

The A12 package
The 440 cubic inch Six Pack engine, featuring three 2-barrel carburetors, delivers 390 horsepower and is designed for reliability, with the A12s built to endure the demands of both street and drag strip racing. For instance, the camshaft has a low taper profile, and the rocker arms are crafted from heavier-gauge steel for added durability.

Special attention was given to the suspension system, including the S15 police handling package, Hemi front torsion bars, a larger 0.94-inch front sway bar, firm-ride shock absorbers, and Hemi rear leaf springs. To withstand quarter-mile sprints, the Hemi rear springs feature five full and two half leaves on the right side, and six full leaves on the left. The A12 package includes heavy-duty drum brakes, with 11x3-inch drums in the front and 11x2-inch drums at the rear. Disc brakes were not offered. Factory tires options were either G70-15 Firestone Wide Oval Super Sports or Goodyear Red Streak Custom Widetread Polyglas tires, mounted on 15x6JJ steel rims with chrome lug nuts and no hubcaps. Additionally, a 0.224-inch spacer was placed under each lower control arm bumper to ensure proper clearance for the larger tires.

The 727 TorqueFlite transmissions paired with the 440 Six Pack engines featured a wide front clutch drum, also used in Hemi engines, allowing for five clutch discs, and utilized the same 10-inch converters found in 383 cars. The A12 differential was a D69 9-inch Dana 60 with Sure Grip limited slip and 4.10 gears.

The '69 lift-off-hood A12 cars epitomize Mopar's effort to create the ultimate street and strip vehicle.

And guess what? This Super Bee A12 is numbers matching – the engine, transmission, and rear axle all original. It's like stepping back in time to 1969. The meticulous restoration makes this car look like it just rolled off the assembly line. It's no wonder this car won 3rd place at the Mopar Nationals, the biggest Mopar show in the world!

The exterior features a stunning "HEMI Orange" paint job, true to its original design. The attention to detail is amazing, making this car a true showstopper wherever it goes.

The Interior Step inside, and you’ll find an interior that’s like brand new. The console, leather seats, shifter – everything is in perfect condition. The restoration didn’t miss a beat, making sure the interior is just as flawless as the exterior.

This car also comes with its original build sheet, owner's manual, warranty booklet, and multiple service invoices, adding to its authenticity and value. Seeing is believing with this incredible car.
