If you think this car looks like a cross between a C3 and a C4 Corvette, it’s because that’s exactly what it is. It’s also the only one ever built, a prototype developed by two of the most famous names in the Corvette world. The legendary Harry Mann Chevrolet in Los Angeles sold more new Corvettes than anywhere else in the world at its peak, and owner Frank Milne was well known for the cutting edge ‘Vette tuning and modification that the dealership performed in-house. He decided to go one step further in 1975 and build a completely custom car around a showroom fresh chassis with help directly from GM’s chief of design Gerry Palmer. Palmer was known as the man who penned both the C4 Corvette and the 3rd generation Camaro, and early hints of those two models are combined with the iconic “Coke-bottle” shape of the C3 in this one-of-a-kind design study. Well maintained with a documented history and just out of long-term ownership in a well known collection, this historic Corvette offers a truly unique opportunity for its next caretaker.
