History would repeat itself as the Z07 concept, introduced at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show, eventually becoming BMW's revival of the timeless 507 of the 1950s as the all-new Z8. Combined with its generous standard equipment including power seats, a Harman Kardon sound system, and ample storage space, the Z8 was the sophisticated touring sports car for the 21st century.
