Beschreibung
The E39 M5 is often celebrated as the crown jewel of BMW’s modern era, delivering an unparalleled balance of comfort, performance, and technology. Under the hood, the M5 is powered by the iconic S62 4.9-liter V-8, producing 394 hp, and paired with a six-speed Getrag manual gearbox and limited-slip differential – a legendary drivetrain that defined a generation of sports sedans.
Built in September 2002, this BMW M5 is finished in the rare and desirable Carbon Black Metallic, combined with the Sport two-tone interior featuring Black and Silverstone Gray leather with ostrich-pattern inserts.
This particular M5 is an exceptional time capsule example displaying just 3,355 miles at the time of cataloguing. A well-documented history shows the car received its 1,200-mile BMW M break-in service on August 28, 2003. In recent years, the M5 has been serviced by well-known BMW specialist Enthusiast Auto Group (EAG), first in 2020 and again in 2024. Maintenance under EAG’s care included a thorough 10-year service addressing fluids, filters, solenoid O-rings, bushings, and sway-bar brackets, as outlined in the vehicle’s history file.
A standout example among E39 M5s, this car is accompanied by its factory manuals, a reproduction window sticker, and accessories. This M5 represents the ultimate sports sedan, still setting the standard nearly 25 years after production.
