Model History
The M5 type E39 was manufactured between 1998 and 2003. Under the bonned one would find a V8 BMW M engine code S62 of 4998cc of displacement churring 400 horsepower sent to the rear wheels. It was only available in a saloon shape with a 6-gear manual Getrag gearbox. The E39 iteration of M5 was introduced at the Geneva Motorshow in 1998. Its development was triggered by the introduction of Mercedes E50 and E55 model ranges, and development of the new V8 supercharged engine offeredl later on the Jaguar XJR saloon. For the first time, this generation was not hand assembled and the inline six of the E34 series was replaced by a double -vanos system V8 engine. On the outside, the M5 had four exhaust tips and a specific body kit as well as a bigger front grill. Two versions of equipment were available – Sport and Exclusive. 20482 cars were manufactured.

Vehicle History
The M5 E39 to be sold at the National Stadium Auction is one of the last pre facelifted cars to leave the Dingolfing factory. The car arrived to Poland from France, where it had its paint refurbrished. Following this, a very meticulous detailing work was carried on by Polish specialists, to give the M5 an almost new appearance. On top of being great outside, the interior is preserved in an outstanding shape. On the engine side, car has only covered 140 000 kilometers so far, and has multiple service records. For now only the vanos system will require servicing soon, which is a standard process for any S62B50 engine. The car has a Supersprint exhaust system which adds more sonority to the engine.
