The audience was shocked during the introduction event in Frankfurt in 1989. A BMW coupé with a 5.0L V12 in the front, a very impressive 0-100 km/h time and hypercar lines ahead of their time. The introduction event was a commercial success for BMW, 5,000 orders were placed at the event. But enough facts, let’s talk about this particular car. A nice, neat 8-series from 1990, one of the early ones to be produced.
