This car is distinguished by its good state of conservation, which can be explained by its past: it has only had two owners, Baudoin Lempereur having bought it in March 2009 from the widow of the first. Its mileage was then 138,441 km (compared to 138,453 km today). In 1993, according to an oil change label, it totaled up to 132,685 km: 6,000 km in 28 years, which is not much for a saloon of this kind. The exterior paintwork in Opal Grün metallic, presumably original, is very well preserved and the engine compartment is in good original condition. The interior has nothing to envy it, with superb green velvet fabric, impeccable door trims and a dashboard in good condition. The rear compartment is also very well preserved, as is the headliner, which has no tears. The car is fitted with a Blaupunkt radio as standard, and all controls and instruments are marked in German.
This beautiful and sober BMW 728i comes with a certificate of conformity from BMW Belgium, dating from 1983. With its powerful 2.8-liter injection engine and its comfort worthy of the best road cars of the time, it is ready after a general service to take its new owner to distant lands, in total relaxation.
