Beschreibung
The BMW E39 is the fourth generation of the BMW 5-Series range of executive cars, which was manufactured from 1995 to 2004. It was launched in the saloon body style, with the estate body style (marketed as 'Touring') introduced in 1996. The E39 was replaced by the E60 5-Series in 2003 and E39 Touring models remained in production until May 2004. The proportion of chassis components using aluminium significantly increased for the E39, and it was the first 5-Series to use aluminium for all major components in the front suspension or any in the rear. It was also the first 5-Series where a four-cylinder diesel engine was available.
Supplied with a copy of vehicle specification sheet and delivered new by Rydale BMW, Cardiff in June 2000, this car that spent much of its life local to Farnborough. Presented in 'Individual Specification' Santorini Blue with blue over tan leather trim code Z1XX, the car is also specified with the optional extras including heated front seats, dynamic stability control, electric rear blind, sports seats and phone prep for the Nokia 3110 to name but a few. The car has only three previous keepers and is presented with a full book pack including stamped service booklet with the last service at 135,861 miles and an original leather sample from when it was ordered. Offered with an MoT test certificate valid until April 2026 with no advisories, indeed no advisories have been logged since 2020. This is a fabulous engine wrapped in a genuinely 'Individual Specification' E39 which is a desirable combination for BMW enthusiasts. Consigned by Mathew Priddy
