This lovely BMW E3 saloon with its injection engine, one of 22’310 examples of the type built, is a Swiss delivery and was first registered on the 31st of May 1972. The car is equipped with a 3-litre inline 6-cylinder delivering 200 hp, a 4-speed manual gearbox and a luxurious fabric interior, resulting in one of the more sporting saloons of its time. After one or two changes of ownership, the BMW was taken over by the vendor from 25 years family ownership last June. Over the years the “Verona red” E3 has received a set of 14 inch aluminium rims and the rear bench was replaced with a leather covered bench but another unit with fabric covering could easily be supplied. With approx. 167’000 kilometres driven, the E3 is in very good and carefully maintained condition and the last Veteran MOT was completed in June 2024.
