An absolute darling of a Turbo R, and we have had them from day one and probably more than most too

1990 is one of the best years, where the quality of build was at it best, before cost cutting during and after the recession in 1991, and the engine was very powerful and torquey but before they tried to stretch the envelope in terms of power output

Then the Turbo's suffer from Head Gasket issues from the later engines with over 365bhp - hence we really love these early but sufficiently updated variants

This particular version has been owned by one loving family since new when she was specified individually for the new keeper

At the same time she ordered a new Corniche DHC too - well you would, wouldn't you!

I'm assuming that the Corniche had the same attention to detail on the order as the Turbo R which came with, and of course still has,

the following Special Features:-

Rolls-Royce style interior with comfort seats, opening front passenger armrest, passenger foot well fire extinguisher, opening rear seat arm rest, rear seat picnic tables, cocktail requisites (presumably for the use of on the picnic tables.......) rear quarter badges, dark green leather top roll, tan leather knee roll and tan leather headlining

More over, obviously having stayed at the Peninsula Hotel in HK ordered the bodywork and interior to match exactly the colours chosen by that esteemed establishment

The huge standard list of features on top with the original lambs wool over rugs (in mint condition), rear vanity mirrors, electric door mirrors, one touch electric windows, ice cold air conditioning system (recently gased) not to mention the ground covering capabilities of these heroic Gentleman's Club on wheels giving a cruising ability of over 100 MPH and 0 - 60 in 6.5 seconds !!!

And what a combination too, looking more than somewhat establishment, this Turbo R sits squarely above all others and having only been driven a trifling 57.450 kms since new (35.750 miles) is a rare commodity in today market

All original handbooks and service books accompany her with all large and small tools as well

The interior is almost unmarked and the fact that the family have chosen to keep her exactly as she was delivered makes her all the more refreshing - so many have bigger wheels or the enormous exhaust from the later versions

A most usual and magnificent example - we cannot over stress how wonderful she is
