The superlative of almost anything you can imagine in the automotive field is a Bentley. The Flying Spur is the most luxurious, richly equipped and at the model's introduction, it is the most powerful and fastest production sedan available. The second generation was presented in 2013, which is the version you see here. In new condition and from the first owner: it doesn't get any better.

The Flying Spur you see here is the 4.0 V8 S. That last letter is an important addition because not only are things like bumpers different in design, but the enormously powerful 4.0 V8 also delivers 528 hp instead of the not-too-bad 500 hp of the 'normal' Flying Spur. The V12 is the superlative? Opinions are divided on this, many owners prefer the V8 because it drives much more modern, partly due to the lighter weight. This makes the V8 S actually the most popular version.
This Flying Spur was delivered new by PON on January 3, 2018, and has always been maintained there during its short life. Only 37,301 kilometres saw the first and only owner of this stylish Bentley pass below. You don't feel the kilometres in a car like this, with standard Adaptive Air Suspension and Continous Damping Control, terms that we do not use every day with our offered cars.
The combination of Dark Blue over Cream is very stylish. The dark blue, special paint is in a completely new condition. To keep it that way, the car has had a ZEN-XERO treatment, a coating that provides very good protection for the paint. As a result, the paint can be kept in the condition it is in for days to come. The beautiful 21-inch alloy wheels are finished in a fresh aluminium colour, which we personally find more stylish on a Bentley than dark or two-tone wheels. It gives the car an exceptionally chic look. The Pirelli tires are like new so the standard four-wheel drive Flying Spur is not only very fast but also handles superbly.

And then the interior, the part where the Bentley distinguishes itself even more from the competition than with the exterior. When you get in, it is immediately clear that this is a practically new car. The smell is still identical to the one in the car when it was delivered in 2018. The word wear and tear can simply be crossed out because there is not a millimetre in the interior that does not look or feel like new. The combination of cream with light grey leather and dark wood is incredibly chic. It is completed with numerous details in matt aluminium. The glass roof provides extra light in the already anything-but-stuffy interior.
In the front of the Bentley, it is already very well done, with ventilated seats, among other things, but you don't really want to get out in the back either. From the back seat, there is actually more luxury than in most modern cars in the front, making the choice very difficult when it comes to driving or being driven. Wherever you sit: a massage function is available in both the front and rear.
That choice becomes easier when we look at technology. Under the colossal hood is a large four-litre V8 with two turbos. The 528 horsepower manages to get the Bentley to the road surface via the advanced four-wheel drive. The transmission is provided by an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, one of the best automatic transmissions available. The automatic transmission shifts almost imperceptibly during normal use, but can also be operated very quickly via the paddles behind the steering wheel if desired. Because no matter how luxurious, quiet and comfortable the Flying Spur is, it is sometimes very pleasant to let the 528 hp of the V8 S out.

All in all, this Bentley is the highest attainable that could be purchased in 2018 and even now there is little that offers more luxury than this 5.30-meter-long mastodon. New, the price for this powerhouse was € 262,911. This Flying Spur, which is in concours condition, is now for sale at Gallery Aaldering for just over half (including VAT).
