Beschreibung

"From its production in 1921, the Bentley name has remained synonymous with prestige, performance and luxury. The finest Bentleys of the post-war period were designated ‘Continental’; a title which was re-introduced in 1984 in the form of the Bentley Continental Convertible, an example of which from 1991 is available today. The Bentley Continental is powered by a V8 engine incorporating an aluminium-silicon alloy block, aluminium cylinder heads and cast iron wet cylinder liners; the bore was 4.1 and the stroke 3.9 giving a total of 6.75 litres. Fuel was supplied via a Bosche MK-Motronic fuel injection system, with drive provided via a four-speed automatic GM Hydromatic gearbox and a top speed quoted by Bentley of 131mph.
Originally supplied by Broughtons of Cheltenham on 1st January 1990, this Bentley has been owned by the vendor since 2015. He is a Bentley enthusiast with a passion for convertible examples of the marque. This Continental convertible is finished in Balmoral Green with contrasting St. James Red interior. With 22 stamps in the original service book, it is clear to see this is a car that has been very well cared for, the vendor last had the car serviced at Bentley Hampshire in January 2017 and she has done less than 500 miles since then.
Convertible motoring is a great experience, combine that with driving one of Crewe’s finest designs it is easy to see why such examples are in high demand. The car is supplied with a V5C registration document together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 22nd January 2019 and the original handbooks. Is there a better way to enjoy the summer?"
