- Delivered new to Switzerland - The 4th LHD car to be built in 1963 - Beautiful Regal Red with Beige Connolly Hide interior - Exceptional condition - One of only 27 LHD cars to be built in total - Factory air conditioning Ordered on 26th September 1962, left-hand drive chassis number 'BC106LXA' was retailed through Garage de l'Athenée in Geneva and first owned by Mr Ricardo Sicre. A copy of the chassis cards on file reveal that the Continental was originally finished in Velvet Green with black leather upholstery, and that the chassis had been delivered to Park Ward on 24th January 1963. Special features listed include; - Air conditioning - Speedometer in MPH - 'Made in England' nameplate - Export type rear numberplate - Plain Sundym glass throughout - Radiomobile electric aerial - Irvine lap belts front and rear - Centre armrest - Rubber inserts to over-riders - Electrically operated door windows. In addition to Mr Sicre, only one owner is listed: Irving Wallace Esq of Los Angeles, California, USA from 30th September 1967. American author Irving Wallace whose books sold over 120 million copies in his lifetime. His works included the The Chapman Report (1960) and The Prize (1962), both of which were adapted into films with the latter starring the legendary Paul Newman as its lead. The car was delivered to his house on South Bristol Avenue in Los Angeles and at this time was presented in “silver-blue.” We have managed to find two black and white photographs
