When the cover was lifted to the new Audi R8 at the Paris Auto Show in 2006, it offered a futuristic design that borrowed proven technologies from the recent VW Group acquisition of Lamborghini. Originally offered exclusively with a V8, an update would soon follow bringing the tremendous V10 power plant to the already well refined Audi platform. With an exterior finished in a Panther Black Crystal Metallic Tintcoat, this R8 also features optional 19-inch titanium wheels for a sleek overall appearance. A well optioned example, the black leather interior also includes an optional Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. Powered by a naturally aspirated, 5.2-liter V10 paired to with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Paired with a Quattro all-wheel drive system, this quick shifting transmission allows for excellent off-the-line performance and road holding ability.
