The Audi R8 was first shown in 2006 and remained in production until early 2024. Based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform the R8 was available as a coupe or convertible with the option of manual and automatic gearboxes. Powered by either a V8 or V10 engine with the later producing 543bhp from its 5.2litre engine propelling the car from 0-60mph in just 3.5 secs and onto 197mph.
