This fine V8 is a rare early factory Vantage, believed to be the third to roll off the production line and converted to automatic transmission by Aston Martin Works Service at the request of Aston Martin director P. Cadbury; this example was 1 of only 3 cars converted at the request of Aston directors (the whereabouts of the other two cars is unknown) and a full 6 years before automatic transmission was officially offered on this model.
Supplied with a fully documented history file detailing considerable recent expenditure including replacement sills in 2003, new brake discs in 2007, re-trim in 2005, replacement air conditioning in 2006 and other assorted invoices for many more thousands of pounds from Nicholas Mee and HWM.
