The DBS V8 was first registered on 26th March 1971 by a Mr Freedman in Edgeware, and then a first change of keeper on 5th April to Green Shield at the same address. Well known for their trading stamps, they traded the car in 1974 to Mr N. Horwood in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The DBS then evidently remained in the Midlands as the next owner, Mr D. Grubb purchased the car in 1981 who also lived in Edgbaston; he was to stay its proud owner for the next 33 years.

Sadly, Mr Grubb had to part with the DBS and was sold on 2nd May 2015 to J. Tugwell of Chertsey, who kept the car for four years before placing it into public auction in 2018, resulting in the current owner purchasing the car.

In 2019 Richards of England were commissioned to undertake a 2,500-hour restoration of the DBS V8 completed in 2022 and we are delighted to be able to offer this much loved Aston Martin DBS V8 to the market.

Four registered keepers from new including one owner who kept the car for 33 years.
