At Marreyt Classics we like the purity of the early design. We like the DB2, the DB4 and the DBS!
The new Aston Martin DBS, designed by Bill Towns, was introduced in 1967 as a successor to the DB6, from which it used the tried-and-true 4.0 liter “six” producing in standard tune a healthy 282 HP, and remained in production through 1972 with in total only 787 examples built.
From 1969 the DBS was also made available with a V8 engine, the car being known as the DBSV8.
We love the aluminum-bodied four-seater with the aluminium 4 headlamp grille featuring a sharper, more Italian-inspired appearance than the curvaceous DB6.
This example was sold new on the 9-th of September to its first owner in Pennsylvania USA with Borg Warner automatic transmission, airco and power assisted steering.
Very recently this Aston Martin DBS was imported back tot he Old Continent and joined the collection of a Dutch Aston Martin collector.
A very healthy basis in running condition which just needs some TLC before this Aston Martin could be enjoyed as a practical daily classic.
Your entry into exclusive Aston Martin ownership at a realistic price.
