Alfa Romeo TZ2 Reborn

In 1964 a new version of Alfa Romeo's TZ racing car was introduced at the Turin Auto Show in the Zagato stand. With great improvements over the first TZ, such as reinforce structure and further weight reduction by making the coachwork of vetroresina. The new vetroresina body was moulded tight to the chassis providing lower drag and reduced weight of the car. The new design was called the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2. The TZ2 was only built as a racing version, it was equipped with an Autodelta-prepared twin plug, dry sump lubrication 1,570 cc DOHC straight-4 engine producing around 170 bhp (127 kW) at 7000 rpm. With this engine the car reached top speed of 245 km/h (152 mph). Only 12 TZ2 cars were ever built. Making the TZ2 one of the most sought Alfa Romeo racing cars.

TZ2 is Reborn
Retro Coachbuilders TZ2 Reborn is the work of thousands of hours, to create the automotive sculpture that is the Alfa Romeo TZ2. Built with accurate designs, this reproduction is a true marvel of coachbuilding. The TZ2 Reborn is built in our atelier in Italy, using the same build methods of the original TZ2. Such as the coachwork being handcrafted in vetroresina, as per the TZ2's built in period. Fitted with correct Alfa Romeo DOHC straight-4 Twin-Spark engine as per the original. Each TZ2 reproduction is bespoke for each client in both mechanical as well as, exterior and interior specifications. Interior is as per the original with correct gauges, dashboard, steering wheel and upholstery.
