This very special Alfetta was handed over to the first owner through Mito AG in Zürich on the 3rd of March 1978. In 1982, with probably around 65’000 kilometres driven, the Alfa was taken over by an enthusiast with a veritable “cuore sportivo”. Over the next two years, and following true period fashion, he had the suspension lowered and equipped with 15-inch Gotti rims. Additionally, the coachwork received wheel well flares together with a front and rear spoiler and the whole car was repainted in his chosen colour including airbrush art. The interior received new König bucket seats, an Indy wooden rim steering wheel and electrically operated windows. In the following years the Alfetta was enthusiastically driven and, as can be seen with the receipts available, regularly and carefully maintained. In February 2018 the GTV received new gearbox mounts and in October of the same year, new Koni shock absorbers were installed front and rear. In September 2019 a new sports exhaust system was installed and in May 2022 the cylinder head gasket as well as the clutch were replaced. In April 2023 the gearbox received an overhaul and the rear axle received new brake callipers and discs. In July of the same year, shortly before being taken over by the last owner, a new starter motor was installed. Currently the Alfetta is in good condition and has covered roughly 139’000 kilometres. A perfect example of early 80s fashion with the last veteran MOT successfully completed in July 2023.
