It is the Abarth & C. dealership in Paris, "Mollof" of Mollof Dimitri, a friend of Carlo Abarth and exclusive importer of Abarth in France, the only example which was delivered to him in the first half of 1965, he did not register it and used it immediately in competitions with the official team.
Take part in the European GT Championship
and Sport with the Official Driver Jean Mazzanti (F) who, thanks to the numerous victories achieved in 1965 and 1966, together with the European Abarth Official Teams, will contribute to Carlo Abarth winning the European GT Championship and the Constructors' World Championship.
In 1967 there is no evidence of other races with Mazzanti but the car will continue to compete for Mollof/Abarth France with other drivers such as Beaumont and Lemaitre
and subsequently it will be entrusted directly to his salon to be sold shortly thereafter.
2nd owner from 1968 to 1970
First registration of the car to Gentleman driver Jean-Marie Lemerle (F), who bought it directly from the Mollof dealership and continued racing from 1968 to 1970.
3rd owner from 1970 to 2020 (50 years)
Second registration to the Gentleman driver Jaques Simonet (F) who buys it from his friend the driver JM Lemerle, continues to compete from 1970 to1977 (identity fiche from 1984 available) and then uses it in many Abarth rallies and international events (documentation available)

A great fan of Italian cars and respectable Gentleman driver, he notes the history of many of his participations with the Alfa Romeo TZ1 (his since 1967) and the Abarth 1000 Bialbero Muso Lungo (his since 1970) in various international competitions, with the two his cars that he painstakingly cared for and preserved until January 2020 when he passed away at the age of 73.
