This show vehicle was assembled using steel and fibreglass producing parts made from the original moulds and blueprints of the Batcycle from the 1966 Greenway Productions Television Show "Batman” that are the lawful, rightful property of the manufacturer of this vehicle to this day. The exterior of the original bike was designed by Tom Daniels and built in April 1966 by Richard "Korky” Korkes & Daniel Dempski, doing business as "Kustomotive.” Yamaha gave them two black motorcycles, so they could build one "hero” bike and one copy. Bob Butts made fresh moulds of the Batcycle and the Batmobile from George Barris
Although originally built for display purposes we understand the Batcycle will reach speeds of 80-90mph. You can also use the side car which contains Robin’s go-cart, provided you can persuade someone to actually sit in the sidecar, let alone wear Robin’s yellow tight
