This ‘Race Paddock bike’ was purchased by David Hutcheson in August 2003 specifically as ‘period transport’ for commuting from the Competitors’ camping area to the Race Paddock at the Goodwood Revival. Wearing a ‘faux’ number plate to disguise its age (all Goodwood Revival vehicles should be pre-’66!); it was indeed most a useful conveyance for beating the crowds at Goodwood, serving David well over several Goodwood Revival attendances. This cute little moped offers game period transport that should serve a historic race team well for collecting the bacon sarnies prior to practice!
