Fichtel & Sachs, a German company founded in 1886 to produce ball bearings and other mechanical parts, overcame the First World War period with many problems and, in an attempt to recover, began producing single-cylinder 2-stroke engines for mopeds and small motorbikes in 1929. Once the Second World War was over, it resumed production, encouraged by the great demand for mobility that came from both national and international markets. The 98 cc model has a 2-stroke engine. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
