Description

The Ferrari 330 GTC has been originally delivered in Germany through Auto Becker Düsseldorf in 1967 to its first owner. In 1974 it changed hands and was registered by Heinz Wiemeyer in Munich carrying license plate number M-VK-2611. In 1981 it was bought by its last German owner Gerhard Toscani from Neunkirchen. In that time the mileage was near to 30.000 km. It was registered on license plate NK-T-808 which is confirmed by its last and still valid German Title issued on the 25th of September 1981.

While Mr. Toscani spent most of his life in Mexico the 330 GTC was stored in Germany where it was rarely driven within the next 25 years. It was more or less only used from time to time when he spent his holidays in Germany.

In 2003 it changed hands for the last time. Due to the long time in storage lots of work needed to be carried out including a complete rebuilt of its engine and gearbox at 32 000 km. The archive file shows an amazing amount of invoices and service records.

In autumn 2019 our workshop carried out major work by stripping the suspension and grinding the frame to bare metal. By this we can reaasure the next owner that we did not find any corrosion or any signs of former accidents.
The frame has been painted perfectly in black and the suspension had been sand blasted, powder coated or cad plated. The whole work had been documented by an amazing amount of detailed photos. Our 330 GTC now looks from underneath as well like new. The work is documented by a large file of photos and as well by an invoice in total of 58.000,- Euros.

The last service record in winter 2019/20 shows a complete rebuilt of the carburetors and the ignition.

It has a lovely detailed engine compartment and still has its gorgeous original black interior (pelle nera franzi). The condition of the original dashboard and interior seems to correspond with its mileage of only 33 065 km which is shown on the odometer.

We could reassure the next enthusiast owner of this beautiful 330 GTC that it runs and drives as it should. The engine has lots of torque and accelerates tremendously, the gearbox does not have any synchro problems or any vibration coming from the drive train. Honestly we cannot imagine a better driving 330 GTC.

The Ferrari 330 GTC is one of the best driving classic Ferrari out of the sixties. It benefitted of the most important new developments done by Ferrari in the late sixties. It received the new 4000 ccm and 300 bhp engine, the 5- Speed gearbox which was mounted as a trans axle system, independent front and rear suspension and all around disc brakes. The engine was connected to the gearbox with a torque tube which helped to avoid any vibration from the drive
train.

Having all this in mind it is not surprising why most of the Ferrari collectors are keen to have one of these beautiful thoroughbreds in their garages.
