Life is a trip – especially when you do three alpine road rallies in a row

Traveling the American West with his Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, director Brock Keen is something like a father of the rooftop tent movement. This summer, he joined his Porsche-loving friends in Europe for the Sickalps Rally - and did three levels in a row. Here's the epic film he shot along the way.

“It sounds cheesy, but it’s a little bit life-changing” says Brock Keen (aka @996roadtrip), during the latest Sickalps Tour. Unlike other rallies, Sickalps consists of different levels, much like a video game, and to be able to attempt Level 3, for example, you must first have completed Levels 1 and 2. Not one to be left behind, Brock decided to complete all three levels in a row, cruising among a flock of Porsche 911s with the Alps providing a stunning backdrop for their automotive antics. While the format of Sickalps is certainly a novel one for a rally, the purpose of the levels is to keep participants coming back for more, which helps to nurture the family atmosphere that is so important to event mastermind Moritz Leidel. If you’d like to learn more about how you can get involved in Sickalps, then you can read about the amazing rally in our feature story right here. And if you want to find out more about Brock, then stay tuned, because we’ve got our very own interview with him coming up in the near future!
