These 10 perfect Porsche Boxster Spyders are for sale. Which would you pick?

Offering open-air thrills unlike any other sports car in its class, the Porsche Boxster Spyder has emerged as one of the brand’s best kept secrets. We’ve gathered ten of the best examples listed on the Classic Driver Market.

There are some cars out there with the sole purpose of bringing its driver a beaming smile with just a blip of the accelerator. Sure, there are plenty of models that do it, and do it well, but Porsche’s Boxster Spyder is one of those very few that can deliver an unrivalled level of joy and excitement on every single journey, all while looking outrageously sleek and stylish at the same time.

Born in 2009, the original Boxster Spyder took a little while to find its place in the world. Sure, it was incredibly lightweight and more agile than a 911, but many were left confused by the fiddly non-folding roof. That is, until they drove it, at which point almost all complaints were silenced. Since the original, the Spyder has seen two new generations, the first in 2015, with many vital components taken from the Cayman GT4, most notably the 3.8-litre 911-derived engine. The 718 generation Spyder would follow, bringing the roofless wonder even closer to its coupe sibling. Whether you’re after a 981 generation Spyder, or the later 718 model, which includes the outrageous Spyder RS, we’re certain any one of them will leave you grabbing the keys for this certified future classic time and time again!
