Fahrzeughistorie:

O-Ton des Restaurators: „Der Grund des Verkaufs ist nicht etwa in der geringen Laufleistung und somit fehlendem Fahrspaß zu sehen, sondern bei meiner Frau. Sie hat eine Abneigung gegen dieses Fahrzeug in der Restaurationsphase aufgebaut, weil ich all meine Freizeit über drei Jahre lang dem TR gewidmet habe. Darüber hinaus hat sie eine Aversion gegen zu viel Aufmerksamkeit. Wenn man in so einem Fahrzeug sitzt, befindet man sich natürlich auf dem Präsentierteller und wird zwangsläufig zum Blickfang. Aufgrund dieser Einstellung bin ich immer allein unterwegs und muss mich förmlich wegstehlen. Wenn ich mal fahre, bin ich immer zu lange weg und der Hausfrieden ist gestört, so dass ich immer ein schlechtes Gewissen habe.“

Vom Triumph TR250 wurden zwischen 1967 und 1968 (15 Monate) 8.400 Autos gebaut, die alle für den amerikanischen Markt bestimmt waren. Viele sind heute außerhalb der USA zu finden, hauptsächlich in Europa. Der Wagen ist sofort einsatzbereit und befindet sich in einem hervorragend gewarteten Zustand.

The restorer's quote: "The reason for the sale is not to be seen in the low mileage and thus lack of driving pleasure, but with my wife. She has built up an aversion to this vehicle in the restoration phase because I devoted all my free time to the TR for over three years. In addition, she has an aversion to too much attention. When you're in a vehicle like this, you're naturally on display and inevitably become the center of attention. Because of this attitude, I am always alone on the road and literally must steal away. If I ever drive, I'm always gone too long and the domestic peace is disturbed, so I always have a guilty conscience."

There were 8,400 cars built of the Triumph TR250 between 1967 and 1968 (15 months), all destined for the American market. Many can be found outside the U.S. today, mostly in Europe. The car is ready to go right out of the box and is in excellent maintained condition.
