A magnificent and very rare, solid 18K Gold Rolex OysterQuartz Day-Date, Rolex model reference 19018 with gold dial made in 1986's in fully working order with its original box, travel box and papers.This model was made in very limited numbers by Rolex. In 1956, the Rolex Day-Date made its debut. Available only in 18 ct gold, it was the first wristwatch to display the date and day of the week spelt out in full in a window on the yellow gold dial. With the 18 ct yellow gold President bracelet around 19 cm, originally created specially for it. This bracelet is entirely hand finished and is available with a hidden fastener which revealed only by the Rolex crown. The Day-Date continues to be the watch par excellence of influential people. Features the harder to find famous and rare cal. 5055 movement in fully working order. This calendar analogue timepiece combines an eleven-jeweled movement and a quartz-linked motor. It operates normally in magnetic fields up to 1,000 Oersted, requiring no winding or power reserve issues. Rolex OysterQuartz runs great and all functions work as expected.
