1940s.
Fine and very rare, stainless steel wristwatch with oval button chronograph, registers,
telemeter, tachometer and a stainless steel Rolex
Oyster expansion bracelet. Accompanied by a
stainless steel Oyster bracelet Ref. 78350
(in need of repair).
Three-body, polished and brushed, snap-on
case back, stepped bezel, concave lugs.
Matte silver with luminous Arabic numerals,
outer 1/5th seconds track with 5-second
Arabic markers, most outer telemeter scale,
concentric spiral tachometer scale, subsidiary
guilloché dials for the seconds, the 12-hour
and 30-minute registers. Luminous blued steel
baton hands.
Cal. 13''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels,
straight-line lever escapement, monometallic
balance, self-compensating flat balance spring.
