At the heart of this chronograph is OMEGA’s mechanical calibre 1861 with 18 jewels, with a high-grade rhodium-plated finish on the movement, the legendary manual-winding movement worn on the Moon. This OMEGA Speedmaster Professional “Moonwatch” features a black dial covered by a hesalite crystal and graced by a small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder along with a central chronograph hand. The indexes and central hour and minute hands are coated in LumiNova.With its black dial and tachymeter scale, this 42 mm chronograph was designed to stand out. The black bezel, with its tachymetric scale, is mounted on a 42 mm stainless steel case excluding the crown and 48mm from lug to lug is in very good condition throughout, with minor surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. Open back lid signed "Speedmaster", "Professional", "The First Watch Worn On The Moon", "Omega". The winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Omega” logo.
