OMEGA OLYMPIC SKELETON CHRONOGRAPH 18K YELLOW GOLD
Omega, "Louis Brandt", No. 004, Ref. BA 143.6716. Made in a limited series in 1980 for the forthcoming
celebration of the 50 years of Omega's Olympic timekeeping (Los Angeles 1932).
Very fine and very rare, large and heavy 18K gold, keyless fully skeletonised watch with split-seconds
chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute register.
Three piece, massive, "pomme et filets", glazed both sides, co-axial button in the crown for start/stop
and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph, button at 11 for the split-seconds, sapphire crystals.
Hour ring in chased gold, matte white minute and fifths of a second ring with Arabic numerals,
white subsidiary ring dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Fancy blued steel skeleton hands.
Luxury Cal. 1130 S - 24"', fully skeletonised gilt-brass cut, filed, beveled and engraved by hand, 21
jewels, high frequency straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating Breguet
balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, split seconds chronograph with visible work.
Case signed Louis Brandt, chronograph bridge engraved with the number.
