Gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer black minute divisions with five minute markers, blued steel moon hand (minute missing), hinged case in the form of a mandolin with gilt wreath set in white and blue enamel surround, vaulted back with ribs of blue enamel and foliate engravings on black ground, black and gilt engraved finger board
