Where should we start? With the history of the Mercedes-Benz W123? The W123 was built from January 1976 to January 1986 and proved to be a huge sales success over the years. Mercedes-Benz released a large number of variants and each time there was a very eager audience for them. Nearly 2.5 million copies of this production series were produced. We probably won't tell you anything new about this legendary model, which was in production for ten years with four-, five- and six-cylinder inline engines. No, we will quickly move on to this specific example, which is simply new with only 57,000 kilometers of experience.
This stylish Mercedes coupe with a simple chic color scheme is in fantastic original condition. This Mercedes W123 coupe is in a condition as it rolled off the production line. The bottom, the interior and exterior, the engine compartment and the technology. Everything about this copy is correct down to the last detail. We don't see many examples like this.
The interior is as we prefer: in beautiful condition and with fabric upholstery that is in terrible condition and combines beautifully with the paint color of the outside. For example, the gauges of the instrument panel have not even discolored and are all still neatly orange. In addition, this copy is equipped with many chrome accents, wood-look interior finishing and classic bottle cap rims.
The Mercedes is equipped with the 2,299 cc four-cylinder engine. Coupled with a four-speed manual gearbox, it is an incredibly pleasant car for long distances, whether on the Dutch A2 or the German Autobahn.
'Very nice' is the best description for the bodywork of the W123. The screens, doors and engine and trunk lid are in very nice condition and this also applies to the blue paint, which still largely consists of the first paint. In keeping with the rest of the car, the bottom is also in very good condition. Apparently no work has been carried out and it is not necessary: apart from signs of use, it can be described as 'particularly good'. All technical components, screws, bolts and clamps show no trace of oxidation.
The history of the Mercedes is complete, with the car equipped with all booklets and history. A convincing example in every respect with a mileage of only 57,000 kilometers.
You should not miss this W123 Coupe if you are looking for one of the most comfortable classics available.
