The 1937 Rover 16 Sport Saloon was a luxury car produced by Rover, a British motor company. It was a sporty version of the Rover 16 and was intended for buyers looking for a car with a sportier appearance and better performance. The car was equipped with a six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.1 liters and had a power of approximately 60 hp. The Rover 16 Sports Saloon had a top speed of approximately 130 km/h, which was impressive for the time. The design of the 1937 Rover 16 Sports Saloon was more striking than the standard Rover 16, with a streamlined body and a lower roofline. The car also had sportier wheels and tires and an adapted suspension for better road holding. The 1937 Rover 16 Sports Sedan was popular with luxury car buyers for its combination of sportiness and refinement. However, it was an expensive car and only a limited number were produced. The 1937 Rover 16 Sports Saloon is now considered a rare and sought-after classic among collectors for its elegance, sportiness and technical advancement.

The cars on offer are part of a static collection that has been accumulated over the last 40 years. They are mainly in an unrestored, original but dusty condition. We have not tried to start any of the cars. We have been informed that the engines have been turned, on a regular basis, but the exact condition of the cars and the engines is unknown to us.
