Description
This 993-generation 911 Carrera Cup is a smart example of the rare lightweight track model, which is understood to be one of just 216 cars built.
It is powered by a 3.8-litre ‘M64/70’ naturally aspirated flat-six engine, producing around 310hp and driving the rear wheels via a six-speed G50/30 manual transmission.
This left-hand drive Carrera Cup was originally supplied new to Germany. During its life this carrera cup has spent 15 years in Japan and Thailand and has been maintained in perfect condition.
This Carrera Cup is finished in the striking hue of Speed Yellow, with a black Porsche-branded Recaro bucket seat, an additional passenger Recaro bucket seat, red Sabelt racing harnesses, and an Alcantara-trimmed Momo steering wheel.
It rides on a set of 18-inch Brombacher split-rim alloy wheels, which are painted gold with polished rims, housing red brake calipers and shod in Bridgestone tyres.
It features its original period-correct and very rare Plexiglas side windows.
Other features include a locking differential, Dome struts, an integrated rear spoiler, a 75-litre fuel tank, airbag delete, and unassisted steering.
A new aftermarket RSR Aerokit and wings have been fitted to the car during its lifetime.
A complete overhaul of the car was carried out in 2022 by the Porsche Classic Center ROUEN - Normandy.
