Description
It was at the beginning of the millennium that the prancing horse brand made its revolution. Resolutely modern, the Ferrari F360 was presented in 1999 in its coupé version, then in 2001 in a cabriolet. It continues the tradition of the V8 berlinetta, replacing the much-loved but outdated F355 with a completely new platform, engine, gearbox and styling. Its second-generation semi-automatic gearbox is slower than its F355 predecessor, but its sublime manual gearbox is preferred. Now half ancient and half modern, the 360 is a perfect balance of gearbox - engine - driving position - engine and makes it an extremely pleasant car to drive. A total of 17,500 examples of the 360 were assembled, but a small minority of these were equipped with the manual gearbox, which was abandoned at the time for the F1 gearbox, which has now aged badly.
Our model is therefore the convertible version, with a total mileage of 55,092 kilometers and was put on the road on 24 April 2004. Our car benefits from a complete and scrupulous maintenance follow-up in the official network of the brand and has all its logbooks, more information on request. No accident, technical control, Car Vertical and Histovec available and favorable, duplicate keys with anti-theft system and original toolbox present.

ENGINE AND GEARBOX
This 90° mid-rear V8 block is completely new and offers 400 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. Torquey, powerful, available over a very wide range of use, the pick-up is always pleasant and accompanied by a bewitching soundtrack despite a completely original exhaust system. With its 3.6 liters of displacement, the engine benefits from an innovation already present on the F355, the "cincovalvole" technology which offers 5 valves per cylinder. Once started, the engine has no oil leakage problems and emits no smoke or suspicious vibrations. On the road, the engine just wants to rev up without running out of breath and without a power dip. The 6-speed manual gearbox is perfect, with optimal guidance and precision thanks to its H-grid that provides a very metallic feel. Its gearing is also good and remains smooth to use. It was last in the official network in April 2021, at 51,300 kilometers at the Charles Pozzi dealer in Paris. It is possible to include an annual maintenance in the negotiation of the vehicle.
EXTERIOR
The stylistic evolution compared to the F355 is obvious, in complete contrast to the straight, masculine lines of the latter. The F360 is more elegant, larger and more rounded, while still evoking high performance. The all-aluminium bodywork keeps the weight down, while the black fabric soft top is fully motorised and shows no unsightly appendages when folded. The original aluminium wheels are flawless. The original Nero Daytona color has very few flaws and elegantly dresses the Italian's curves. There is no rust on the bodywork, wheel arches or underbody. A bespoke parking cover will be supplied with the vehicle.
INTERIOR
The revolution also extends to the interior, which has been completely redesigned and is much more livable than previous generations while still being designed for sporty driving. All dressed in Nero Daytona leather and aluminium from the roof to the door sill, it is a good compromise between luxury and sportiness. The instrumentation is perfectly legible behind the leather steering wheel, which is free of any controls and offers a good grip. The leather sports seats with the mythical Daytona upholstery hold the occupants in place with good lateral support. The sticky plastics have been treated with the exception of the door handle and look like new. The comfort elements such as the air conditioning and the radio are in working order. Some special options complete the cockpit, such as a fire extinguisher in its leather case, or a special plate above the gear lever, surely desired by the first owner who configured the vehicle.
CONSUMABLES
The Pirelli P Zero front (215/45 ZR18) and rear (275/40 ZR18) tyres date from 2017 and are in good condition, as are the discs and pads which have recently been changed.
