Description

The Graham Brothers – Joseph, Robert, and Ray – made a sizable fortune in glassmaking after inventing the process for making bottles with a crown strong enough to use metal caps. Eventually, they decided to go into automobile manufacture by purchasing the Paige motor company in 1927.

This 1936 Graham Model 110 Supercharger Touring Sedan features the company’s centrifugal supercharger and was originally rated to produce an impressive 112 hp. Today, the Graham appears unrestored, with substantial patina throughout. It was purchased by Mark Smith in 2007 and appears to have been a longtime Washington State car, with old Washington registrations on file and 1963 Washington license plates fitted to it. With its eye-catching color and interesting mechanical specification, this Graham is a wonderful and rare find for aficionados of original automobiles.

*Please note that this Lot, like all vehicles in this Auction, has been in long-term static storage and may not be currently operational. It will require mechanical attention prior to any road use.
