Description
"The BMW E39 is the fourth generation of the BMW 5 Series range of executive cars, which was manufactured from 1995 to 2004. It was launched in the saloon body style, with the estate body style (marketed as ‘Touring’) introduced in 1996. The E39 was replaced by the E60 5 Series in 2003 and E39 Touring models remained in production until May 2004. The proportion of chassis components using aluminium significantly increased for the E39, and it was the first 5 Series to use aluminium for all major components in the front suspension or any in the rear. It was also the first 5 Series where a four-cylinder diesel engine was available.
This beautifully presented 530 SE is offered in silver and complemented by full grey leather trim with the usual BMW refinements. In single ownership since its delivery in 2003, this example boasts 10 Sytner BMW dealer services with the last at 24,200 miles. Specified with the automatic gearbox, these 3.0 litre, straight-six engines are not only pleasant and smooth to drive but the E39 is also a very well built 5 Series with many having surpassed over 200,000 miles, let alone a poultry 30,000. Supplied with two keys, the original dealer pack, every receipt from BMW ever issued and even a BMW umbrella still in its packaging and original torch in the glovebox, this car is clearly a cherished example. Viewing is recommended for such a car offered without reserve.
Guide Price £7,000 - £10,000"
