The XK120 was the fastest production car in the world when launched, and those who have had the experience of driving one of these cars will confirm that they are a very impressive and fast car, putting many more recent sports cars to shame.
Originally a Californian car, this particular example is exceptionally healthy with a very sound body and chassis. The body has very straight lines, with no sagging of the doors.
Inside the remains of the original interior can be found. The only things missing are the seat bases.

The engine was professionally re-started recently with a different distributor, ignition leads, and fuel supplied directly to the carburettors.
It shows good oil pressure and little to no smoke coming from the exhaust.
After the engine was re-started and deemed good for use, the original side-exit distributor and ignition leads were refitted.

The XK’s long straight body is beautiful in its simplicity. This was a very aerodynamic shape for its time. This would be one of the easiest and best project cars one could think of to restore an XK120 to the next owner’s tastes and specifications.
