In 1962, Honda reigned supreme at the Grands Prix with four-stroke engine machines. In the 50cc category, Honda had developed the CR110, powered by a single cylinder with double overhead camshaft cylinder head and four valves, with an 8-speed gearbox (later 10!). Unfortunately, the two-strokes supplanted the multi-valve engines. In 1998, Honda celebrated its 50th anniversary and presented the Honda Dream 50, a little gem reminiscent of the fabulous CR110. With a red frame and grey trim, enlarged cylinder head, front and rear disc brakes, the Dream blended the Sixties with Honda technology. Bought new by Baudouin Lempereur, this Honda Dream is the equivalent of a "new-in-the-box" Dinky Toys: it awaits an enthusiast for the opening of the box.
