Meccanica Verghera, known throughout the world as MV, but even more for its 37 World Speed Titles won by its motorbikes, was experiencing a very positive period in the 1960s as sales were strongly driven by racing successes. In expanding its range, it presented a 250 cc model with a twin-cylinder 4-stroke engine with pushrod and rocker arm timing inserted into a single girder frame made of steel tubes with a telescopic fork and swingarm with a pair of hydraulic shock absorbers. Its claimed performance, with a top speed of 135 km/h, placed it at the top of its class. Customised by the owner with some non-original parts. Well preserved, documented and in working order. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
