At the Milan Motor Show in January 1952, the scooter that aroused the most interest was the Ducati Cruiser, an cutting-edge model, equipped with sophisticated mechanics, a 175 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with a distribution of rods and rockers, credited with a power of 7.5 hp, gearbox with hydraulic converter and electric starter. Also, the bodywork was no less important, with a load-bearing body designed by the well-known Turin coachbuilder Ghia._x000D_
