When you are driving something from the M department, drift happens. -

An old saying goes; never meet your heroes. What this suggests is that the model in your head is often more romantic than reality. We proved them wrong, because the E46 is so good! It was the third generation of the 3-series stable that the 'Motorsport' department of BMW was allowed to interfere with. A bunch of fanatics where it is all about one thing; going rebellious fast. Very hard. Sideways, and so on.

When you wake up the 3.0 six-in-line, you are treated to the iconic snare they only manage in Munich. Number of HPs? According to BMW M somewhere between 343 and 360. Enough to insert in any case. Wir haben ihnen das Gegenteil bewiesen, denn dieses E46 ist so gut! Es war die dritte Generation des 3-series, in dem sich die Motorsportabteilung von BMW einmischen durfte. Ein Haufen Fanatiker, bei denen es nur um eines geht: schnell rebellisch zu werden. Sehr hart. Seitwärts, und so weiter.

Wenn man den 3.0 Sechser aufweckt, wird man mit der ikonischen Falle verwöhnt, die es nur in München gibt. Anzahl der Pferdestärken? Nach Angaben von BMW M irgendwo zwischen 343 und 360. Genug, um sie auf jeden Fall einzufügen. Ihr Titansilber betont die dickeren Hüften und den wohlgeformten Seitenrock. Die "The Gurney Flap" (muss deutscher Humor sein) und die vier Pfeifen verraten viel, wir werden ihn nicht als bescheiden bezeichnen. Vielmehr als ein Auto, das sich "seines bedeutenden Status bewusst ist", vor allem bei BMW-Enthusiasten wie uns.
