Description

Maserati introduced the 3500 GT Vignale Spyder at the 1959 Turin Motor Show. Clothed in stunning Vignale coachwork and fitted with an upgraded ZF five-speed gearbox, the Vignale Spider quickly gained a reputation as one of the most sought after, open GT cars of the time.

- One of only 242 Vignale Spyder's ever built

- Presented in its original factory colours of Grigio Albany & Pelle Rossa

- Maserati Classiche Certified & offered with an extensive history file

The example offered here, chassis AM101*1415*, was ordered on the 4th March 1963 and delivered to Count Lorenzo Odetti di Marcorengo, through Franco Cornacchia S.r.l in Milan, Italy on the 15th March 1963. Count Lorenzo ordered the Vignale Spyder to be finished in ‘Grigio Albany’, with the interior trimmed in ‘Pelle Rossa’ Connolly leather and optioned with Borrani Disc wheels.

Presented in its original factory colour combination this Vignale Spyder has recently been awarded Maserati’s Classiche Certification.
