Presenting an immaculate, unrivalled British classic BJ8 MK III phase II Austin Healey 3000 in concours condition. Originally sold new in Philadelphia, USA, was this highly-optioned, sports classic that has undergone an extensive restoration to showcasing its natural beauty.

Fitted with a powerful 2.9L 6-Cylinder engine, the 3000 MK III is paired to a 4-speed manual overdrive transmission. Receiving the upgraded disc brakes and the chassis handling upgrades, allowed this limited produced series to clear 0-100 in less than 10 seconds!

An exterior finished in 'white ivory' sets immaculately over a Red Ambla leatherette carpet outlay as highlight to its stunning Walnut trim. Showcasing all original dash instrumentation, this example has been artfully restored.

Accompanying this example is a Factory Heritage Certificate and the original owner's handbook. Presenting a trophy example as the last series of the MK III released off the production line, this example is highly collectible and a show piece among any Classic car collection.

The Austin Healey 3000 was launched in 1959 as the British sportscar that set the benchmark to power and performance. Throughout the life of the 3000, it saw new body shapes ranging from an open sportscar, a 2+2 model and finishing with a convertible in 1967. This 3000 went on to place first in many European rallies and was a highly successful release for Austin Healey.

The last model of release for Austin Healey was the 3000 BJ8 MARK III with production from 1964-1967. A 'phase II' version was released of the MK III and stood as one of 17,712 being manufactured with only 226 making their way to Australia as either Australian delivered or eventually imported by a collector.
