The new event will see 100 carefully selected, privately owned Jaguars assemble in a designated enclosure, following an initial narrowing-down process led by Jaguar Director of Design, Ian Callum. Divided into five classes (Pre-War, Saloons, Sportscars, Classics of the Future, and a Judges’ Choice category for wildcards), the cars will be scrutinised by a team of expert judges set to include the marque’s (Scottish) design director, with the winners selected on the afternoon of the Concours of Elegance’s newly themed ‘Jaguar Saturday’.
Entries for pre-War cars right up to modern-day machines can exclusively be registered on Classic Driver by filling out the online entry form. The entry process is open now, and will close on 7 August 2015 – all successful entries will receive special Concours of Elegance roundels for their cars, to be displayed on entry to the Jaguar Trophy Enclosure and entitling the occupants to free entry to the Concours of Elegance. To encourage the maximum number of applications, every entry form submitted (even if unsuccessful) will receive a discount code entitling the entrants to free parking and £10 off tickets to the 2015 Concours of Elegance.
