Count Vincenzo Agusta’s Meccanica Verghera company was formed at the end of the Second World War and became famous for their small capacity motorcycles during the Fifties and Sixties. By the mid-Sixties, MV moved towards larger capacity bikes to counter the decline in sales of the smaller 125-150cc models. Something of an enigma, this 1972 MV Agusta appears to be a model that never officially entered production, namely a 250S with electronic ignition. Based on the 250B, the mainstay of 250cc
