To coincide with the launch of its new GT3 car, McLaren has produced a short video of both road and race car on the track.

Martin Whitmarsh (McLaren Group CEO) and other leading lights in the programme give a little insight into how the project came about, and what the racing version of the MP4-12C offers prospective teams.

He also describes the racer as the road car’s “evil twin” – have a look at the video, and you be the judge.
