For the sixteenth time the Monegasque harbour ‘Port Hercules’ will transform itself into a meeting place for the largest and most elegant yachts in the world. From the 20th to 23rd September 2006 the whole super-luxury marine sector will be in Monte Carlo.
In total 95 boats will represent shipyards, boat builders and yacht brokers from all over the world. That this is a convention for ‘megayachts’ is evident by the fact that 55% of the craft already announced as attending are between 40 and 50 metres long. Early entries include the 66 metre ocean-going yacht ‘Dilbar’ that includes its own waterfall running from the top to lower decks, and the 88 metres sailing yacht ‘The Maltese Falcon’. The clipper built by Perini Navi will make its debut at the show.
Of course all the important boat builders will be presenting at the show. Manufacturers like Wally, Lürssen, Riva, Pershing and Benetti. Those intending to attend should reserve a hotel room as soon as possible and for information on this, as well as full details of the 2006 Monaco Yacht Show, you should visit www.monacoyachtshow.com.
